Today I spent the whole afternoon up at Arctic Valley berrying. It's a great way to kill a day, and still productive at the same time. Also, most of the people up there aren't looking for crowberries, so there's little competition. I could be alone, basking in the sun on this gorgeous day and experiencing beautiful views. Just what my soul needed.I ended up with about five cups of crowberries which, added to what I've gotten from the backyard gives me enough to try my hand at making jelly. That will be tomorrow's project. That way I'll still have the berries for the husband to taste when he gets home - which will be soon, Inshallah.
